Hellbreaker is 100% Funded!

Artist Ian Ashcroft and I are thrilled that Hellbreaker: Fire in the Blood is 100% funded on Kickstarter, with just over two weeks to run on the campaign.

We’ve got the first three pages of the graphic novel lettered (by the ever brilliant Ken Reynolds), and it’s fantastic to see the script and art finally come together on the page.

We also had a lively chat with the team at the Awesome Comics Podcast a couple of days ago. Topics included the nature of Hell, why the concept exists, and how ours is new and different, but draws inspiration from Dante.

We are offering an exclusive to Kickstarter deluxe edition of the graphic novel, with dust jacket, foil detail on the jacket and hard case, a placeholder ribbon, printed endpapers, a bonus art gallery and a special weird and eerie story – Asquith: A Night Down The Pub, drawn by Ian and written by Hellbreaker contributor George McDonald.

Both the deluxe edition and the standard hardcover, which will go on sale after we have fulfilled the campaign, include the original Hellbreaker story from Spacewarp Comic, newly coloured by Ian.

I do hope you’ll check out our campaign, and if you’ve already backed us – thank you! Ian has added more original sketches and is offering A3 commissions on any character (from Hellbreaker, 2000AD, your own creation, he can do anything).
