A Fantastic Voyage into the soul
I rarely read fiction – let alone sf, but a few weeks ago Lisa drew my attention to Soul Jacker, by Michael John Grist, and I was intrigued enough to pick it up. Lisa’s already a huge fan of Grist’s work, having devoured his 9-volume zombie apocalypse series.
Soul Jacker is very well written and very readable. It’s a taut, clever cyberthriller that messes with your mind. Blending hard science, metaphysics and high-octane action, I was gripped from the start. If you’re a fan of Stephenson and Gibson, and you love interweaving narratives that keep you guessing, you must read Soul Jacker.
What a great premise. And sf gangsters, too! Superb.
It’s on special launch price on Kindle for the rest of April, so you can grab it for just 99p.
